An innovative instrumental ensemble that creates original music that naturally and excitingly combines Middle Eastern cultures with Western music and modern jazz.
The band’s unique sound was born from the encounter between the musical heritage they absorbed at their grandfather’s house and the love for music they grew up with – an encounter that crystallized into a new Israeli-ethnic style with a personal musical language.
Nehafa ‘s combination of instruments: oud, canon, clarinet, bass and drums – creates a rich and exciting soundscape, opening a door to a journey to the roots of the Middle East. Nehafa composes and performs soft, moving and pleasant music, melodic and harmonious, covering the full range of emotions, with a groove and sound that connects the old and the new.
Nehafa performs at jazz and world music festivals across the country and in Europe, receiving warm responses for their fresh sound and exciting performance.
Members of the band:
Eviatar Morad – More
Eyal Litvin – Canon
Elad Cohen – Turkish Clarinet
Yishai Haringman – bass

The show is held according to Home Front Command regulations and in the event of an alert, people evacuate to a standard shelter in the building.
