'סיפור ירושלמי' הוא פרויקט משותף של סיפור ישראלי והקרן לירושלים המעניק במה למספרי סיפורים ירושלמיים מקשת רחבה של קהילות בעיר. המטרה היא לפגוש ולשמוע אנשים שלא נפגוש ביום-יום, ושמייצגים מגוון רחב של גילאים, רקעים, שכונות, מסורות ודתות.
לסיפורים יש כוח אמיתי לשנות את המציאות, ואנו רואים יום יום עדויות לכך שהקשבה כנה ואמיתית מקדמת אמפתיה וסובלנות.
בכל ערב נשמע שמונה סיפורים בני שבע דקות כל אחד, ובסוף הקהל יבחר את הסיפור המנצח של הערב. הסיפורים חייבים להיות מסופרים בגוף ראשון, להיות סיפורים אמיתיים שקרו למספרים עצמם (בלי גוזמאות, בלי תוספות, בלי המצאות) והסיפור חייב להיות מסופר בעל פה (אין אצלנו דפים).
