Liane was born and raised in Jerusalem, and spent almost a decade performing as an opera singer in the United States.
She lived and performed in New York, as a house singer at the Cities-Tri Opera and on stages including Carnegie Hall and Barclays Center.
In Israel, she performed with orchestras including the Israel Broadcasting Authority Symphony Orchestra, “Symphony” Ra’anana, and the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra.

After years in the world of opera, Yan returned to Jerusalem and embarked on a new path of creation.
In her first album, you can hear songs that describe a journey of search between the classical world and the world of pop, folk-rock and country.
A journey between the sacred and the mundane, a connection to the work that comes from the heart, a search for a place in the world, and a connection to herself and her audience.
