Octajazz היא שמיניית מוסיקאים ירושלמית המביאה עיבודים חדשים לקטעים בסגנונות מגוונים וקטעים מקוריים. חברי הלהקה הם מוסיקאים בוגרים וצעירים, בוגרי האקדמיה למוסיקה בירושלים, רימון, ומוסדות אחרים בארץ ובעולם החולקים תשוקה ואהבה לז’אנר.
בתוכניתה החדשה “ארבע על ארבע” מביאה Octajazz משב רוח מרענן של עיבודים חדשים לקטעים ישנים וחדשים כאחד בסגנונות ג’אז שונים. החל מהקלאסיקה של דיוק אלינגטון ודיזי גילספי ועד לאומנים בני זמננו כמו אברהים מאלוף, מישל קמילו, ורוי הרגרוב ואף קטעים מקוריים.

Octajazz is a Jerusalem Jazz Octette which brings a fresh breeze of new arrangement for new and old pieces.
The group consists of jazz veterans and young musicians, graduates of the Jerusalem music academy, Rimon and other music school. They all share the passion for music and the Genre.
In its new program 'Four on Four', Octajazz brings fresh breeze of new arrangements to old and new jazz music, as well as original pieces; amongst other: classic pieces by Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie and contemporary artists' music such as Roy Hargrove, Michel Camilo and Ibrahim Malouf.
